Included for auction in this lot is a modern example of a Plains Native American Indian style pipe tomahawk. The contemporary piece is crafted with a polished steel, featuring a weeping heart cutout in the center of the blade, with beautiful stippling around the edges. The bowl also shows a polished steel finish, with fine rolled edges. The shaft of the tomahawk is finished with a dark stain, and shows excellent grain. The mouth piece for the tomahawk is dramatically tapered to a point, and shows fine pewter inlay. The tomahawk shows good condition.
