The war club shows a solid wood construction in a gunstock pattern showing later added metal trade tacks and iron shard remnants as the blades, totaling eight. The trade tacks have a double zig zag pattern on both sides. The handle had a nice patina with a red and black ocher. The end of the handle shows a drilled hole which is holding an Indian tanned hide fringe holding a brass hawk trade bell and solid brass flattened coin. The piece has a dark color and shows some damage. Overall age and origin is unknown. Measures 27"L x 2.5"W.
