Pieper Bergmann Patent Model 1910/21 Semi-Automatic Pistol
This is an example of a Bergmann semi-automatic pistol as manufactured in Herstal, Liege, Belgium. The left side of the barrel extension is marked "BREVETE./ S.G.D.G.", "M. 19 10/21" and "ANCIENS ETABLISSEMENTS PIEPER/ HERSTAL-LIEGE./ BERGMANN'S PATENT.", with the serial number on the underside of the frame. A series of Belgian proofmarks are visible on the right side, and the number "3990" has been added to the rear of the frame. The right side of the barrel rib near the muzzle is marked "crown/ DK/ 43", indicating a Danish wartime replacement barrel. All blue finish with a polished hammer and trigger and two piece checkered grips with a lanyard staple. With one magazine, numbered "6265".
