Thomas (Tommy) Singer (born 1940 - May 31, 2014)
He is one of the most regarded silversmiths in Navajo history having created the ‘CHIP INLAY’ an intricate use of turquoise and coral chips integrated in to the silver work. This method made Mr. Singer famous world around in the 60’s. He is known for his overlay work, storyteller pieces, rug patterns and traditional motifs.
Sterling overlay story teller Concho black leather belt. This belt features 12 oval sterling Conchos and the oval Concho style buckle for a total of 13 sterling Conchos. Each weighs approximately 15.5 g for a total weight in silver of 201.5 g, each Concho measures 38.9 mm x 55.6 mm. The belt leather and all weighs 250.2 g and the belt width is 23.7 mm.
