Parker Hale Bolt Action Rifle 243 Win Made in England...

Wood stock Parker Hale in 243 Win is called The Varmint Gun.. Nice bench gun too ..

Parker-Hale Ltd. was a British firearms manufacturer located in the Gun Quarter of
the city of Birmingham, England that was founded by Alfred Gray Parker and
Arthur Hale in 1910.

After WWII Parker-Hale purchased German military surplus Mausers and re-stocked
them to make a new deluxe sporting rifle. In the 1950's & 60's these rifles were
advertised as "Safari Super Deluxe Mauser Sporting Rifles" but were not marked
with a name/ model number on the rifle.

By the early 1970's Parker-Hale started marking these sporting rifles with models
numbers, such as the Model 1100, 1200, 1200 Super, etc.
This original Sporting Rifle was made in the 1960's and features a Monte Carlo
walnut stock with basket weave checkering and oiled finish, rosewood forearm/ grip
knob with white grip inlay.
Engraved receiver area.. This one has rails mounted on it and no iron sights.
Bolt shows pitting but looks like it function well.

No damage to stock apart from 2 holes drilled at forend where studs are mounted.
