Single bead sight on a rib marked "PARKER BROS MAKERS. MERIDEN CONN. DAMASCUS STEEL.", 2 1/2" chambers, choked improved modified/modified, extractor. Water table marked with the patent date and "2" over the serial number. Scroll engraved frame, hammers, trigger guard, and break lever with game bird scenes on the lock plates and frame underside. Damascus barrels and double triggers. Pistol grip stock with checkered grip area and forearm, hard rubber grip cap and dog head hard rubber buttplate. LOP: 14 1/4". With a leather takedown trunk case, 3-piece ebony cleaning rod, patches, a ball removal screw and a wire chamber brush. The accompany factory letter confirms the serial number and Damascus barrels, and states that it was manufactured in 1885.

Condition: Very good. The barrels retain 60% of the Damascus pattern and traces of original blue finish in the protected areas with the balance a smooth gray patina. The action retains 60% original case colors with the balance a smooth gray patina. The forearm is very good with a couple missing slivers of wood and numerous minor handling marks. The sanded and reoiled stock is fine with a repair in the grip area and some minor pressure dents in the grip area, along with some scattered minor handling marks. The case is very good with minor handling marks and some wear to the lining.
