Manufactured circa 1889. Single bead sight on a concaved solid rib marked with the one line Parker address and "DAMASCUS STEEL". 2 3/4" chambers, choked modified/improved cylinder with extractor. The water table is marked with the patent dates and "2" over the serial number over "G". Lightly floral scroll engraved action with marsh game scenes, scallop bordering and marked "PARKER BROS" on each side. Double triggers and tang safety. Mounted with a checkered forearm with metal forend and "PAT'D MAR 26, 1878" marked latch and lightly engraved hardware, and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and checkered Parker Dogs head hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches. Complete with a canvas bound takedown hard case with combination lock and leather corner protectors.

Condition: Refurbished. The barrels retain approximately 99% of the Damascus pattern with a smooth pleasant gray patina. The trigger guard and trigger guard plate retain about 30% blue with the balance having a smooth gray patina. Overall the frame has a smooth gray patina with flashes of case colors on the water table and upper tang and around the protected areas of the fences. The wood is very fine as freshened with some scattered mild dings and scratches, and crisp checkering. The case is excellent with a few handling marks.
