Parker G H grade 12 gauge double barrel shotgun, 28" Damascus steel barrels, checkered pistol grip stocks, 7 lbs., 4 oz., ordered June 12, 1901 by E. K. Tryon of Philadelphia. According to record booknumber 57, the gun was returned by the Tarboro Company in North Carolina in 1902 to clean locks and repair. The gun was returned later in 1902 to make trigger pull harder and eliminate doubling. The gun was returned by J. J. Green of Tarboro in 1903 to remove dent. Mr. Green returned the gun again in 1904 to fit 30" barrels to shoot buckshot. He also ordered a leather case for the gun and both barrels. He again returned the gunin 1905 to make the right hand barrel shoot the same in the 30" barrels as the short barrels. The original price was $80, with letter signed Mark Conrad on Parker Gun Collectors Association letterhead. Barrelsare now choked cylinder right, open left; the condition is good with smooth metal surfaces, some minor scratches on the barrels, a few areas of thumbprint size pitting towards the muzzle; the stock is very
