Parker Brothers factory 28 gauge upgraded by Del Greco to DHE grade in the Remington era on order repair code ETT3, October 1948. The shotgun remains in fine to near excellent condition as upgraded with 95% to 98%Remington style blue and case hardening. A semi beaver tail forend was added at the time of upgrade and the gun shows a English style straight stock which is the original and the stock colors are close but not an exactmatch. The gun measures 13 ½” from the single trigger to the end of the butt pad and 12 ¾” to the end of wood. The gun is choked skeet and skeet with 26” barrels. There is a 2 ½” drop at heel and a 1 ¾” drop at comb. Thebutt stock shows some slight scratches and minor wear at the edges and remains in very good plus to near fine condition. The gun locks tight and the bores are near excellent. An attractive 28 gauge Parker in a pricerange where it could be used as a shooter. Est.: $7,000-$14,000.
