Pair of percussion pocket pistols by W&J Rigby, Dublin, cased with accessories. The pair measure 8-1/2” overall with 3-1/8” octagon barrels of approx. 44 caliber smoothbore. The pistols show fish tail butts, are 7/8 stocked to the muzzle, and show captured rammers. The barrels show a false Damascus pattern, the locks and mounts are nicely engraved, and the pair are silver or platinum banded at the breeches. The guns are in very good plus to near fine condition with original bright finishes toning slightly at the barrel and locks. The triggerguards show 80-90% bright robin’s egg blue. The pair are contained in their original to theperiod green baize lined partition style case with Rigby barrel in lid showing address 24 Suffolk St, Dublin. The case contains a carved horn handled screwdriver and a carved horn handled nipple wrench with broken socket and a Sykes type bag flask. Along with mold, wooden loader, and rare cap tin showing W&J Rigby logo. The interior of the case is very good plus to near fine condition, the exterior is also very good with warping to
