Pair of large bore percussion pistols signed “Patrick” on the locks and “Liverpool” on the barrels in English style case. The pistols measure 11” overall with 6 1/8” octagon barrels in approximately .60 caliber smoothbore with attached rammers on swivels. The metal surfaces show considerable original finish drifting to a patina with scattered light to moderate erosion and pinprick pitting mostly on one barrel. The locks show considerable case hardening going to asilvery gray. There are traces of original blue on the trigger guard’s. The stocks are in very good condition with fairly crisp checkering and some minor handling marks with just some normal aging. The pistols are contained within a felt linedEnglish style partition case with label in lid which is a well-done relining or restoration probably done in England. The exterior of the case is plain oak with brass plaque and key plate. Est.: $2250-$4500
