The pair measure 16-1/2" overall with 10-3/8"medium weight octagon barrels with thick walls of approx. .62 caliber smoothbore. The pair show markings on both locks and barrels and Maker to His Majesty engraved upon the barrel. Pistol # 1 shows traces of originalbrown on barrel drifting to patina and grey with some light to moderate erosion and pinprick pitting with still sharp edges and clear signature. The lock shows 50-70% case hardening that is evenly toning and dullingand going to patina, but still some strong color. The triggerguard shows 75-85% blue with some light rust. There is the address 89 Fleet St. engraved in a small circle. The stock is good to very good with crispcheckering, some minor storage marks, just normal age.
