Pair of Perazzi SCO extra grade over/under high-art engraved shotguns, 12 and 20ga, serial #80132 and 75221. Numbered “1” and “2” in gold. Stocked alike, with elaborate engraved game scenes by G. F. Pedersole. Gun#1 is 12ga, with 27-3/4” barrel, showing low-profile ventilated rib, select burl walnut stock, English style straight grip, checkered butt, choked “Full” over “Modified”. Single trigger, auto ejector.Stock measures 14-7/8” from trigger to end of wood. Shows best-quality fine-lined engraving in game-bird scenes on left surrounded by leaf-cut scroll borders. Right side shows dog flushing birds. Bottom offrame shows dog retrieving bird, surrounded by intricately cut scroll borders of best available quality. This engraver voted in top three constantly by engraving connoisseurs. The gun is fine to excellent showingtest-firing only. The stock is satin finish and also excellent to near mint.
