Pair of Henry Deringer single shot percussion pistols in their original to the period case with plaque in lid inscribed “TBH Stenhouse Salt Lake City”. The pistols are .44 caliber, 6” overall with 2-1/2” barrels . Bothpistols are in very good plus to near fine condition, one pistol shows 90% plus original brown with striping on barrel, bright case hardening on lock and breech, stock shows some edge wear and slight carry but at leastvery good. The higher condition pistol shows double bands at the breech, “P” proof, seven-groove rifling, and typical pineapple finial on triggerguard. Just some slight handling and minor carry. The mate is just aslight bit different in styling but always carried together as a pair and case together as a pair showing slightly more wear, even brown patina on the barrel, traces of case hardening on the lock, good sharp stock, andat least but not quite as fine as its mate. A bag-shape Dixon flask of the period is included along with a mold, nipple wrench, cap tin, small powder measures. The interior of the case is lined in green felt and is in
