A) This lot consists of a cased pair of Sorby percussion pistols with accessories. Frame has a light scroll engraving with the left side marked "CHAs SORBY" and right side marked "WAKEFIELD". Screw on smooth bore barrel and sliding bar hammer safety. British proofs on barrel and ahead of the folding trigger. Fitted with a checkered grip featuring a German silver diamond inlaid behind the upper tang. Complete with a partitioned case lined with green velvet, a Sykes powder flask, bullet mold/nipple wrench, brush, key, and Hicks percussion cap tin. The top of the lid has a brass circle inlay inscribed "Mr. D.W. SOAMES./PINNER, MIDDLESEX.".

Condition: Very good, with a smooth dark patina overall, an mottled gray showing on the remainder, minor flash pitting, and some light dings on the refinished barrel. The grip is very fine with some minor dings and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically fine. The case is very good with two cracks on the lid, some minor handling marks, and some minor wear on the lining.

Condition: Very good, with a smooth dark patina on the barrel and a mottled gray patina on the remainder. Grips are excellent, with minor pressure dents and varnish loss, and crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
