Pair of Balkan or Greek Flintlock pistols with ornate silver alloy cast and pierced metal stocks with chiseled steel locks and barrels circa 19th century. The pair measure 18-1/4” overall with 11” barrels of approx60 cal smooth bore. The stocks are overlaid with pierced silver alloy sheets that are secured by small nails into wood stock. The butt caps and trigger guards are cast separately as are the muzzle bands. Thelocks are well made and both locks and barrels are well chiseled. The condition is very good with small losses of wire wrap at wrist, minor imperfections. The metal is crisp and the surfaces not rubbed out. Thesewould polish beautifully.
