Pair of American percussion belt sized pistols with styling similar to Deringer by John Krider of Philadelphia in their original case with accessories. The pair measure 11” overall, with 6” round barrels with flattened top, signed on locks with barrels marked “Philadelphia”. The pair are nicely stocked in select American walnut which is crisply checkered. The mounts are nicely engraved as are the screws and lockplate. The metalsurfaces show some light cleaning, some erosion and pinprick pitting just starting. The actions are good and the pistols are generally good to very good overall. Approx. 50 caliber. The pair are contained withintheir original to the period green felt-lined partition style case with small label in lid. The interior fo the case is good to very good with some areas of wear at contact points, small losses, but at least goodoverall with four original compartment covers showing bone knobs or pulls. Correct mold, English style bag flag in very good condition, two rods, mallet for ball starting are included. Along with two extra rod heads
