Pair of American Flintlock pistols circa early 19th century with brass octagon barrels, simple American style mounts with naïve engraving and Christmas tree finial on point of trigger guard. The pistols measure14” overall with 8” medium weight brass barrels of 60 cal smooth bore. The stocks are plain light colored wood with straight grain. The condition is very good plus to near fine overall with all original Flintlock parts. The stocks also are very good plus with just some minor imperfections, slight marks opening around pin holes etc. There is a American type design engraved on trigger guard and squared off rear ram rod ferrel.These are not imported but American made probably Pennsylvania or New England.
