Pair of 8” volcanic pistols fully deluxe engraved in Nimschke style with raise carved Mexican snake and Eagle grips, serial number 1214 and 1412 recently discovered in a major collection in France. These pistols show some excellent olderrestoration to the barrel address and finishes. The finely carved ivory grips show some cracks, normal aging and a couple of slight losses. The actions work well and are very good and also the interiors are very good. The edges of the frameand barrels are sharp and crisp. One pistol is missing a front sight. Although not authentic to the period they are very showy and well decorated pair of volcanic pistols which have merits and are attractive. Est.: $50,000-$100,000
