Pair of 18th century center hammer Flintlock holster size pistols signed “Hodgson & Co.” the pistols measure approx 12-1/2” overall with 6-1/8” screw off brass barrels of approx 54 cal smooth bore. The brass frames arenicely engraved and fairly crisp. The steel parts are in good condition with some minor pitting and erosion and a dark patina. The bag shaped grips are in good condition and one shows an almost imperceptible repair.The bottom of the barrels show British proofs. An unusually large size for this style Flintlock that we would date about 1770-1790’s. Est.;$1,750-$3,500.

Buyer pays actual costs of packing, materials, shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
