This lot provides you the opportunity to bid on a RARE Pablo Picasso Eagle Print, used at Xerox in 1963 in order to advertise their model 914 - which was the worlds first plain paper copier. The sketch was originally used as an autograph for an American instructor at a conference to explore xerography. These particular examples were printed on tan parchment-like paper and given to Xerox employees, the standard giveaway prints were made on standard white print paper. The sketch of the eagle is accompanied by the date "3-4-54" (the date of the xerography conference) as well as Picasso's signature. The piece is framed excellently by Newman Galleries in Philadelphia, and features a fine French-Line, and beautiful matting. The frame measures 14" x 16 1/4". Overall, the print is in very good condition, with little browning to the paper. Flaw is only evident in very subtle scratches in the frame.
