Thomas (Tommy) Singer (born 1940 - May 31, 2014)
He is one of the most regarded silversmiths in Navajo history having created the ‘CHIP INLAY’ an intricate use of turquoise and coral chips integrated in to the silver work. This method made Mr. Singer famous world around in the 60’s. He is known for his overlay work, storyteller pieces, rug patterns and traditional motifs.
Size 6 cabochon cut opal and amethyst ring. Ring has an oval center opal that is approximately .63 carats stone measures roughly 8mm x 6.3 mm x 2.2mm. On each side of the opal sets an oval amethyst each approximately .33 carats for tcw in amethyst of .66 each stone measures approximately 5.7 mm x 3.9 mm x 2.1mm. The ring weighs 4.5 g and is stamped .925 CNA
