Equipped with a blade front sight mounted on a ramp, two leaf rear sight (one fixed, the other folding) and factory installed folding tang peep sight. The receiver has standard markings with British proofs on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech and "NOT ENGLISH MAKE" on the left side of the barrel. The barrel is numbered to the gun. The nicely figured pistol grip stock has multi-point checkering on the forearm and grip area, grip cap, straight comb, cheekpiece, sling swivels and serrated buttplate with compartment holding a five piece cleaning rod. The takedown case is lined in green felt and the inside of the lid has a C.B. Vaughan of London label. The top of the case has the name "H.S. Leyman./Cincinnati." and the case has brass furniture. With the rifle are the following accessories: two piece cleaning rod, Rangoon Oil and two boxes of Kynoch 9.5mm cartridges. In the included letter on Mannlicher Collectors Association letterhead, this rifle was ordered by H.S. Leyman of Cincinnati, Ohio. The rifle was exported from Austria to the UK where it was fitted with the leather case that is included in the lot.

Excellent. The rifle retains 99% original blue finish showing some very light edge wear. The stock is excellent showing some minor handling marks with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine showing attractive age crazing on the exterior leather and some mild high point wear on the lining.
