Excellent. The revolver retains 90% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish with wear mostly limited to some minor flaking on the barrel and cylinder and some thinning on the back strap. The cylinder retains at least 95% of the Stagecoach Holdup scene. The hammer and loading lever retain most of the original vivid case colors. The grip is excellent, 95% of the piano finish remains showing some lower edge wear and a small shallow gouge on the lower right rear. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is crisp and functions perfectly. The case is good with some minor cracks in the lid but the exterior shows minimal handling wear. The velvet lining on the lid is very good with wear limited to some minor compression marks. The lining in the case bottom is good with moderate wear. The lining is dusty and discolored from contact with the revolver and accessories. The bullet mold is very good with 75% of the original blue finish. The powder flask is excellent with 90% plus of the brown lacquer finish on the body and 95% of the gold plated finish on the brass top and charger. The flask body shows only light handling wear. The screwdriver/nipple wrench is excellent with most of the original blue finish. The cap tin has not been opened and is excellent, however is not original to the case. This is an outstanding example of a Colt Model 1855 7th Model Sidehammer Pocket Revolver with factory case and accessories.
