Ornately and fully beaded double-sided child’s vest probably Sioux or other Plaines tribe originally on buckskin and later laid down on corduroy trade cloth. Measuring approximately 9 ¼”x 13 ¼”. The American Indian used fine ceremonial costumes for generations and repaired them constantly. The bead work is in exceptionally good condition and near fine with just a couple of small losses and shows desirable greasy yellow colored bead along with other typical green, red, blue and turquoise beads on white background in geometric pattern.
