Ornate cased and silver inlaid Apache style pin-fire revolver in approximately 7 mm with 6 shot cylinder which acts as a barrel. The revolver measure 5 ½” overall and is fitted with period ivory grips that show a mellow age and good color also are in good condition with just some minor aging. The front of the frame shows a small stamp with the name Deprez. The back strap shows the name for Ferranti Tonneins inscribed in block letters. This revolver remains in original very good condition with approximately 50% plus original blue remaining and balance drifting to a gray patina with good metal surfaces and just some slight beginning erosion. The action works well and the raised silver inlay is all intact just darkened slightly. This pin-fire is contained within its original to the period velveteen lined case with two compartments. The exterior of the case is hardened leather with brass tacks and mountings. The case is in very good condition with just normal aging and minor losses. Gail Kennedy Historical West Collection.
