Ornate 18th to early 19th century striker with steel blade, silver-color alloy metal top engraved and pierced in form of bird. Blade also nicely engraved. Measuring approx. 4” by 1-3/4” in height. Good to very goodcondition, used in concert with flint to start fire. Shows good condition, slight wear at the edges from being used. The fanciest example we have seen, probably Spanish Colonial.
