Original watercolor on paper signed lower left O-Wieghorst with his 2C brand portraying an Indian lady on horseback carrying child in cradle board wearing full beadwork and regalia. The artwork measures 9 ¼”” x 9 ½”” and is beautifully framed and the condition is excellent. Olaf Wieghorst was the most recognized Western artist in America during his lifetime and this particular painting was originally in the Dr. John Murphy collection from La Jolla who was a close personal friend of the artist.
