Original printed posting measuring approx. 12-1/4” by 8-1/2”, whereas an individual who’s challenged to a duel was railed for cowardice for not accepting or replying. The posting is for Simeon Hart of El Paso, TX by PT Herbert, April 28, 1862, in old frame with label that reads “From the personal papers of the honorable Alexander Stephens, Vice President of the Confederate States of America”. The story is quite interesting, where Herbert rails Hart for being an opportunist supplying the union and ‘unprincipled low dog’, a ‘sneaking coyote’, and a ‘Jew who abjures his religion and denies his paternity’. He furthers calls Hart a jackal feeding on the vitals of the southern confederacy. The paper is in good condition, offset printed, and absolutely authentic. From the William R. Orbelo Collection. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
