Original polychrome bronze signed Harry Jackson dated 1979 entitled “The Marshall II” portraying John Wayne in character as Rooster Cogburn in a full gallop holding a Winchester rifle and armed with Colt SingleAction. Harry Jackson of Cody, WY was probably the most sought after of all western sculptors. Since his recent passing his bronzes have been hot on the auction block. This bronze is marked 26P in the edition andshows fingerprint and stamp which are the trademark characteristics of Harry Jackson. The sculpture measures approximately 17 ½” in height.
