Original oil painting on canvas signed lower left Ernest Berke dated 1961 entitled on sticker attached to reverse “Evening Serenade”. The whimsical painting shows four (4) Indians on horseback singing to theirfriends in teepees with dog in foreground (firewater may have been involved). The painting measures approximately 21-1/2” painting shows some bubbling, impressions and small spots of an unknown substance. Needscleaning and conservation (estimate less than $300). Ernie Berke was well known for his bronzes and this is the only painting we have found by him.
