Original oil painting on artist board signed lower right Ken Laager. The painting portrays a bird hunter being braced by a bear. Ken Laager was a well-known illustrator who worked for many sports and other magazines from the 1950s thru the 1990s. The painting measures approximately 30” x 22” and is nicely framed and is one of the best works we have seen by this artist that we are very familiar with and have sold many of his works. Several Scottsdale galleries hung his works in Arizona where he retired and recently passed away. Keith and Lori Candee Collection. Est.: $800-$1,600.
