Original oil on canvas signed lower right Peter Scott 1937 (born 1909 died 1989). The painting measures approximately 24”x23”. There is a tear through the canvas approx. 5” from the edge in the sky, couple ofimpressions needing restoration (estimate $600 to restore). The back of the painting is stamped W. Newton, London well known art dealer. Peter Scott is a very actively collected Sporting Artist and Co-Founded theWorld Wildlife Fund. He represented Britton in the 1936 Munich Olympics for sailing competition and he served in the Navy during WWII. He was awarded the DSC for bravery in action.
