Original oil on canvas depicting Indian Village scene by well-known Western Artist “Ace” Powell signed lower left with Powell and trademark Ace of Diamonds; approx. 24” x 36” image only; a large and major work forthis artist. Ace Powel was born in 1912 and died in 1978. He was an early cowboy artist in the “Charlie” Russell tradition who was born in New Mexico and grew up in Montana as a guide and horse wrangler. He was acquainted with “Charlie” Russell and Joe DeYong and was mainly self taught from observing other artists works; he is considered a Montana favorite son and his works are always sought after by collectors and investors as theyhave been increasing significantly in value since his passing now more than 30 years ago. Paintings of this size have recorded sales approaching $20,000. Est.: $6,000-$12,000.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
