Original gouache on board signed lower left “Michael Coleman” and dated 1978 originally entitled “A Dangerous Hunt” with Kennedy Galleries exhibition sticker on reverse. The painting measures 10-3/4” by 17-1/2” and isnicely framed and matted and no condition problems. The subject portrays 2 northern plains Indians stalking grizzly who is aware of their presence. Michael Coleman is among the West’ most recognized contemporaryartists who has won numerous gold medals, awards and acclaim for his art work. A recent publication on Eagles Wings signed by Coleman will be included with the lot at no charge. Little Johns has brokered and soldhis paintings for over 20 years and he remains among our top personal favorites. Michael lives in Provo, Utah where he still explores the high mountains and is a sportsman himself which shows in his work.Est.;$4,000-$8,000.
