Original bronze entitled Wolf Pack by Doug Van Howd of Auburn, CA. Numbered “1/100”. Mr. Robert Petersen particularly favored this sculptor and artist and acquired many of the first castings in his artistic series. Thisbronze measures approx. 16” in height, not including base. Douglas Van Howd (1935 - ) is a very well recognized sculptor whose works are actively collected by an international clientele. His depiction of the Pony Expressfills the entrance of the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV (Formerly MGM Grand) and his sculpture entitled Friends of Freedom is displayed in the Roosevelt room at the Whitehouse.
