Original black-and-white watercolor painting portraying James Arness as Matt Dillon signed lower right David Stone Maxim. The artwork measures 24 1/2” x 14” shows some folding, staining, slight burns to the paper from the glass cover. Receipt is hand signed by Janet Arness stating that this artwork was from the estate. A knowledgeable Hollywood producer what was of the opinion that this was a pre- production concept of what the character of Matt Dillon portrayed by James Arness should look like. Est.: $500-$1,000.
