Original United States District Court, Western District of Arkansas, Fort Smith, Arkansas Expense Account dated March 26, 1895, signed by legendary lawman Heck Thomas in overall very good condition; documentdetails accounting of Deputy U.S. Marshal B. Mellon in serving a warrant on one Arch Lukin near Catoosa, Indian Territory for bootlegging, complaint made and signed by Thomas as “H.A. Thomas”. One of the bestknown lawmen who worked for “Hanging” Judge Isaac Parker, Thomas apprehended many notorious outlaws including members of the Doolin gang, Dalton gang and Sam Bass Gang; he also worked with the likes of BillTilghman, Chris Madsen and Lafe Shadley.
