Original Oil Painting on canvas signed David Swing and dated 1920. Measures 11 ½ “ x 19 ½ “ and is nicely framed. Canvas shows cracking and normal aging with no major defects, could use cleaning. Appears to be coastline of Northern California. David Swing was a California artist primarily known for desert \scenes and he worked for Los Angeles Engraving Company. He had a studio in Pasadena and moved to Phoenix in 1917. He taught at Phoenix Junior College and participated in Federal Relief Project decorating many Arizona public buildings with murals. He exhibited his work at the Golden Gate Expo in 1915. Est.: $350 - $700.
