Included in this lot is a Santo Domingo Pueblo Morenci Turquoise necklace by Anthony Lovato. Anthony Lovato, son of notable lapidary artist Mary Coriz Lovato and grandson of Santiago Leo Coriz, was born on July 5, 1958. He is the fifth generation from the pueblo of Santa Domingo. This necklace features a gorgeous Morenci Turquoise gemstone highly polished with a detailed gold and brown matrix. The cabochon is accented by four sterling silver fins. The necklace is composed of sterling silver balls leading up to a clasp. The back of the pendant features two of the artists hallmarks. The necklace measures 15.5" long when unclasped.
