One of the finest Chieftain’s Mid-Eastern Miquelet rifles we have had the pleasure to offer the collectors’ market in many years; approx. 57-1/2” overall with a 43” barrel, highly decorated silver barrel bands, ornately brass, pearl and stoneinlaid wood stock with red enameled detailing in design work in many of the pearl panels; finely woven tapestry style sling, fancy butt stock cover that shows some old mothing and wear to gold threat work. A true work of art, this piece isdeserving of placement in any fine public or private collection and easily could be the centerpiece of that collection’s Mid-Eastern grouping. (Antique).
