Old 19th-century carving knife with blade marked Harrison Brothers Makers to his Majesty with GR and crown, measuring 14 ½” in length and showing great sharpening and use. These type carving knives with thin blades preferred by Indians and frontiersmen during the 19th century as they were flexible. A receipt signed by Janet Arness wife of James Arness authenticates the fact that the knife was either carried by Arness in productions or collected by him.
