Oil painting on canvas signed Nenia E. Nelson 1905. The first name is difficult to read and may be Menia. The painting measures approx. 10” by 16” and shows a steam ship sailing by a cliff in the sunset. In oldperiod gold gilt and jesso frame, probably the original. Frame shows dealer tag, R. L. Mason, Rock Island, IL. The canvas is in need of cleaning and freshening but has no major problems. The frame is fair to good withdamaged corners. Est: $400 - $800
