Manufacturer: Ohio Ordnance Inc Model: 1918a3-Rifle
Model 1918A3 Semi-Automatic Rifle manufactured by Ohio Ordnance of Chardron, Ohio, in 2010. Ohio Ordnance spared no expense to create a semi-automatic version of the famous Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) used by the U.S. armed forces in WWI, WWII and the Korean Conflict. Aside from the fact that the Model 1918A3 is only capable of semi-automatic fire, it is an exact replica of the iconic BAR. With the exception of the receiver, nearly all the components are either new, surplus, BAR parts or will interchange with original BAR components. This M1918A3 is in WWII configuration with folding bi-pod, detachable flash-hider, walnut forearm with grasping groove and bakelite stock. The rifle has a gray parkerized finish that is identical to the finish found on BARs issued in WWII and Korea. The folding leaf rear sight is fully adjustable for windage and elevation. The top of the receiver is roll-stamped with "MODEL 1919A3" and the Ohio Ordnance legend and patent markings in the same format as the original BAR markings. Ohio Ordnance has produced only a limited number of Model 1918A3 Semi-Automatic rifles and typically has a 3-4 month waiting list. The rifle is complete with bipod and three 20-round, parkerized, magazines.

Excellent with 99% of the original parkerized finish. The forearm has not been oiled and shows no wear. This is a great example of a high quality, semi-automatic version, of one of the most famous of all American military weapons. This may be the last opportunity to own one of the fine and historic firearms.
