Blade and notch sights, with "A.C. Swaidner" (Salem, Ohio, 1830-1870) signed on the top flat behind the rear sight and small areas of light engraving ahead of the rear sight and on the tang. Lightly engraved floral and bird scene engraving on the lock, marked "Henry Parker/ Warranted" below the bolster, which has a high fence and a cleanout screw, and double set triggers. Half length tiger stripe stock with pewter tip, brass ramrod pipes, finger rest trigger guard and a smooth curved buttplate.

Condition: Good, with a mixed brown and gray patina on the metal, scattered handling marks, and pitting around the muzzle and nipple. Some chipping of the hammer face. Stock is good, with dents and scuffs. Mechanically functions, but the trigger is a little sticky.
