Lee Commemorative Pistol authorized by the U.S. Historical Society, #1099, cased modern replica of a Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolver, .36 cal., 7-1/2” octagon barrel, blue with gold colored ornamentation, wood grips with left grip showing medallion of General Lee figure head, in overall like new condition showing little handling; wood casing is presentation style with leatherette inlay in top showing the General astride his favorite horse;interior is grey lined with a reproduction eagle powder flask, a Robert E. Lee inset Coin and two covered corner compartments, one holding a percussion cap tin, the other holding .36 caliber balls. The outside of the case shows somescattered light storage mars and scratches. Est.: $500-$1,000.
