A fine beaded and fringed, native tanned hide scout coat or jacket, with bright yellow pigment and wonderful pictorial designs. Possibly Blackfoot, it is beaded in red, white, blue, black, green and yellow in a tree-of-life motif with hearts, flowers and wonderful white bighorn sheep and antelope heads trimmed in blue. 33 1/2" by 65 1/2' wide, circa 1880s. Includes custom stand.
