Manufactured in 1934. The Model 21 was one of the companies finest effort with regard to quality, reliability and strength. According to the included copies of letters from Nick Kusmit, Master Engraver and Edward E. Ulrich, retired Winchester employee and arms collector, this Model 21 was master engraved in the #4 pattern by Kusmit for Ulrich and then refurbished by the factory. Single bead sight, with chokes measuring cylinder and improved cylinder, 2 3/4" chambers and extractor. The frame is decorated in floral scroll engraving with two ducks in a marsh scene on the left side, two quail in a field scene on the right and two hunting dogs on point on the bottom. The engraving pattern extends to the trigger guard, break lever and forearm hardware. The top of the right barrel is marked with the model, maker and gauge with the two line address/patent pending on the left barrel. The serial number and "SAFE" are gold inlaid. Mounted with a deluxe walnut multi-point checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with a black checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate. Length of pull 14".

Factory engraved and refurbished to near mint condition with a few pressure dents on the right side of the stock and overall light handling/storage marks. The engraving and markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent
