Nicely hand-made flintlock “Kentucky” rifle in classic early American style, unsigned, .45 caliber rifled bore, 59” overall, with 43-1/2” medium to slightly light weight octagon barrel, fancy striped maple stock with raised carving on left side near cheek piece. Fancy engraved German Silver mounts and fancy engraved inlays. The quality of the work is very good and we are surprised it is not signed, and may have been custom ordered. There is some light erosion and rust on the barrel, otherwise very good to near fine overall. From the Robert Petersen Collection. Est: $1,250 - $2,500
