New Zealand: Wilderness Quest New Zealand - Zion Pilgrim of Wilderness Quest New Zealand is donating a 4-day (3-night) New Zealand Himalayan Tahr hunt and $500 credit towards a Red Stag for one hunter and one observer on the South Island of New Zealand. Trophy fees for 1 NZ Himalayian Tahr and $500 credit for 1 Red Stag are included. Hunt takes place in some of the most rugged and beautiful wilderness in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. You will be pursuing the amazing King of the Mountains--the Himalayan Tahr. The hunt will be accessed by helicopter to the drop-off location and hunt will be conducted by foot using fair chase methods. Included are luxury river accommodations, meals, guide service, trophy fee for donated species, use of rifle/ muzzleloader if desired, airport pick-up and drop-off, trophy prep, and shipping to a New Zealand taxidermist. Additional hunters and observers are welcome; see outfitter for details. Additional New Zealand Big Game species and Bird Hunts are available for trophy fees on their website. Not included are helicopter/access fees ($2,000), any before/after hunt expenses, dipping, packaging/shipping of trophies,and gratuities. Arrival/departure point is Christchurch.
